Today, James Pickles CMgr had the pleasure of delivering a food donation the team at Westek Technology Ltd put together to Melksham Foodbank.

Melksham Foodbank is a non-profit organisation, supporting people in need within the community, ensuring no one person within the community goes without a meal.

James reported back about what a humbling experience it was to see the amazing work Kay Perry and her team of volunteers do, not only providing food bags but also hosting hot meal events during the year and being a location through ‘Lifeline’ for people to go who may just need someone to talk to.

It is very rewarding helping as much as we can but, aligned to our business commitment, it is something we feel at Westek we should do to support the local community.

We really encourage people to get out there and help your local community if you can, especially as we head into an even tougher period of the year for many people.
