Yesterday, James Pickles CMgr represented Westek Technology Ltd at St Laurence School Academy Trust Careers Fair, an opportunity to support the school by providing awareness of workplace opportunities and knowledge to steer students thoughts on their future careers.

The feedback from James was how engaged the students were with thoughtful questions and technical queries about IT Technology that gave James some homework to do.

With the news on Defence Investment and the real need to improve UK productivity, we need to educate and help guide the next generation towards their career, particularly STEM careers, there is so much more we can do.
